"We have enjoyed LaDawn and the wedding planning service from the first moment. LaDawn is intuitive, insightful, very responsive and personable. From the moment we met her, we knew she was not just someone we hired because we had confidence in her ability to get the job done, but because we felt like she was the friend we always wanted there, walking us through it all. Her sense of humor and easy temperament are the perfect balance for a couple wrestling with this stressful, but rewarding endeavor."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the average amount I can expect to spend for my wedding? The average wedding usually cost around $23,000
What if I don't feel that I want to spend the additional money for a planner/consultant?
Reconsider. A Certified professional knows how to get the best value for your dollar-a major consideration when the average cost of a wedding tops $23,000.
How can I set a reasonable budget?
I always tell my brides to decide what aspects of their wedding are most important to them and invest the bulk of your budget in those items so you will get the type of wedding that is uniquely yours.
Is there a charge for the initial consultation?
No. We offer a one time FREE hour initial consultation to all of our prospective clients.
Can you plan my entire wedding?
Yes, Platinum Lining Events can assist you from begriming to end. We also offer white glove service that will exceed all your expectations.
Why should I hire Platinum Lining Events over another wedding-planning company?
Our Professional Wedding Planners have completed the rigorous training course administered by the American Academy of Wedding Professionals™. We are trained and Certified in our profession.
How can you help me on my Wedding Day?
You will be assigned the same Wedding Coordinator throughout the entire planning process. On the day of your wedding that coordinator will be there coordinating the timing of everything from your hair and makeup to the time you walk down the aisle all the way through to the last dance at the reception even up to the limo ride to the airport for your honeymoon.
Why can't my mom or good friend handle the details?
At a wedding the mother of the bride has enough obligations on the wedding day than to have to worry about all the details. A friend or wedding party attendant really shouldn't be bothered with the task of coordination either. Your Family, guests and friends should be at your wedding for one reason, to witness and celebrate the marriage of you and your loved one. Wouldn't it be nice to let everyone enjoy themselves on your wedding day? This applies to any important event. Let a professional make the arrangements so you can enjoy!
If I enjoy taking charge of things and making my own decisions, should I still consider a Professional Wedding Planner?
Yes. A qualified professional will know the best vendors, halls, caterers, etc. where you can get the best value for your dollar. They will schedule your wedding and eliminate stress and legwork and handle all situations with ease. Your job is to sit back and enjoy the wedding-planning process-and ultimately your wedding-with your fiancé, family, and friends. If you have the time, you can coordinate the details prior to the event, but you can't coordinate your own event on the day of! Who will be lining up your wedding party? who will cue the ceremony music? Who will verify if all your vendors have arrived, who will pin on boutonnieres & corsages and make sure everyone that needs a flower gets one? Who will orchestrate all the details regarding the wedding reception? Who will take care of any problems if they arise? Wouldn't it be nice to have someone take care of all these details!
The church or the reception site says they have an on-site coordinator that's included in my package, isn't that enough?
An on-site Coordinator usually doesn't know your vendors, your wedding party or group, or the details regarding your day. He or she is basically there to make sure the doors are opened and then locked after the event. Most sites have a site coordinator of some kind. Don't get them confused with event coordination. A site coordinator is basically a banquet captain making sure the tables are set-up correctly and that enough waiters are on staff. A site coordinator usually will leave right after the dinner service leaving you with no one to coordinate the rest of details of your day.
Can you coordinate my Honeymoon Plans?

Can we correspond by e-mail?
Yes. We understand that a lot of our brides and grooms are very busy and sometimes e-mail is the best form of communication. We are always available via e-mail. We always return all of our e-mails in the same day.
