Platinum Lining Events (PLE) is a full service event consulting company for weddings, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, anniversaries, and all special events. Owned and operated by LaDawn Williams who is an experienced and dedicated professional with over 10 years of event planning experience. PLE is not your ordinary event planning company, we strive to provide original events. We are only as good as our last client so it is imperative that we maintain high standards of professionalism and exceed our clients expectations!

BIOS

LaDawn Williams is the Executive Director of Platinum Lining Events. She realized her passion for event planning while working in the entertainment industry and for a major record company right out of college. During this time, she planned and executed a number of events for high-profile actors and recording artists. Though she loved the experience, she yearned for a more personal client connection, which led her to pursue planning weddings and other private events. LaDawn is a certified wedding consultant from the American Academy of Wedding Professionals™, a prestigious organization that stands for integrity, excellence and professionalism. She is also a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, National Association of Women Business Owners, and on the Executive Board of the California Wedding Association.

LaDawn has been married for 11 years and lives with her husband and two Chihuahua's, Bella and Maxx! She loves shopping, taking vacations, spending time with her family, camping and snow skiing! But mostly, she loves her work and planning weddings and special events.

Spencerritta "Rita" Watkins is our Event Manger and resident designer. Rita comes from a retail background with over 25 years of customer service experience. She knows design and flowers and will help bring your event to life. Rita has worked for PLE for over 9 years.

Jamila Williams is a Senior Event Coordinator. Jamila has been working for PLE for over 6 years. She started out as LaDawn's assistant and quickly worked her way up to a Senior Event Planner. She usually co-coordinates with LaDawn on most events and she owns the spirit of getting it done no matter what! There isn't anything that LaDawn askes her to do that she won't do. She takes charge at the events and makes sure every detail is handled to the highest standard.
